We just started up our official twitter account @QCMC2012! The organizing team will be tweeting announcements, timetable changes etc. throughout the conference. We are happy to answer any questions posted via twitter, email, etc. and greatly appreciate feedback. Please use hashtag #QCMC2012 to mark your conversations about QCMC.

Update: a few minor mistakes have been found in version 1.0 (released 16 July 2012), 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3, the above links now point to the corrected version 1.4 (released 26 July 2012).
Under pressure, we are working on finishing the Book of Abstracts (BoA) and are about to send it into printing. Only if the conference fee is paid until the 8th of July, the abstract is included in the BoA.
The Program Committee selected from the applications the hot topic talks (15 min + 5 min discussion). All other accepted abstracts, are invited to present a poster, in one of the three poster sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening. All people are notified by a email about their kind of contribution to the conference. The hot topic talks will be given by:
Due to the fact that already more people with a contribution (talk or poster), applied to the conference, than we can offer physical places in the Grand Cuppola Hall of the TU Vienna, we closed all lists for joining the conference. People on the waiting lists will be informed after the early registration deadline of 4th of June, if still are places avalaible.
There will be a fee of 100€ for every accompanying person of yours in the conference, which will cover the costs for the social event (Melk Abbey, boat trip, conference dinner) on Wednesday and the evening in a traditional Viennese wine tavern (Heurigen).
Due to the delay in the reviewing process, the notification of the participants will start only today and will happen also during the week. Also the deadline for the early registration payment will be postponed to the 4th of JUNE. People, who don’t get a confirmation, will be put on a waiting list and may get an invitation for the for one of the remaining places of the conference.
